DAY CHAPEL, SLIGO

This project involved restoration works to the existing St. Anne’s chapel – a protected structure, together with a new single storey extension to provide a day chapel. The day chapel is a brightly lit space, designed with high level windows to all sides and finished internally with exposed structural glulam timbers. The external facades are clad in local stone, contrasting the aesthetic of the building extension with that of the main chapel.
