HILLSIDE HOUSE, MAYO

This contemporary house has its architectural style and materials firmly rooted in the Irish Vernacular. The design evolved through the use of simple forms, with the house responding to its scenic location by making the most of the panoramic views available whilst also bedding itself into the Foxford hillside. Siting, scale, proportioning and landscaping are all considered with a view to blending the house harmoniously into the natural landscape.
