DRUMSHAMBO ASD UNIT
The two storey extension to Drumshambo Vocational School consists of a ground floor ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Unit which is accessed independently of the main school building, and a first floor four classroom extension that links into the first floor corridor. The form of the building is influenced by the twin pitch of the existing school roof, with the new extension extending this form but using slim line details and a new colour palette to create a new aesthetic at the south end of the site, overlooking the sports pitches.
