This project involved the expansion of the existing ICU Department at Level 8 of Sligo University Hospital through the construction of a dynamic structure located on the corner of the rooftop.

The project, which was brought about to deal with the ongoing threats of the Covid-19 pandemic, delivered 4 isolation rooms together with ensuites and associated airlock lobbies. The black undulating façade has been carefully articulated to deliver a play on light and shadow, visible from various vantage points around Sligo town.
